Africa Rocks Curriculum

(Grades K to 5) Travel an adventurous route across Africa from savanna to sea in the newest teacher resource and activities guide, highlighting Africa Rocks. Students learn about the habits and habitats of African penguins, vervet monkeys, hamadryas baboons, and dwarf crocodiles, along with lemurs from Madagascar. Activities explore the topics of biodiversity, adaptations, food webs, and animal classification. The guide includes 7 full-page pictures, 8 animal profiles, 12 in-classroom activities, a glossary, connections to the Next Generation Science Standards, and focus topics for student visits to the Zoo.
